Career Summary

Mr. Navid Azam has been working in the field of water resources, hydrological and hydrodynamic modeling since March, 2021. Prior to joining CEGIS he worked in two different organizations. He started his career with CEGIS as Research Consultant at the River, Delta and Coastal Morphology Division in October, 2021. During this short period of time, he has worked in several different projects including the Feasibility Study for Water Resources Management in the Kirtonkhola-Shugandhya-Bishkhali River System, Coastal Embankment Improvement Project Phase-II, Updating the information of the Rivers in Bangladesh and its IT-based management, Monitoring and morphological study of the 24 navigation routes. He also has experience in mathematical modeling as he has developed drainage model for coastal polders, 1-D hydro-dynamic model for a feasibility study for the rivers of Rangpur and also developed a drainage model for CDA project.
